I know it's pretty unexpected of me to post something like this so suddenly, especially when I had some exciting plans going on with this raffle and for the rest of the year and onward, but heck I think it's important to let fellow k-pop fans know the gist of what's going on.

Alright, so some of you may or may not be aware, but SHINee's Jonghyun recently passed away. From what I already know, the reports have stated that he'd been quietly living with depression and has committed suicide. Shortly before his death, he sent a text to his sister bidding her a last goodbye. No, this isn't a joke.

You can see more detailed info about that online but holy fuck you guys, I'm not even sure what to think right now... SHINee was honestly my first k-pop group and played a huge part of my high school life. I remember listening to "Ring Ding Dong" and was immediately captivated with his powerful vocals from the very start of the music video. ;u; He was my other bias in the group alongside Taemin. ;;u;;

Anyway...

I might consider doing some sort of tribute for Jonghyun soon. I don't know about you guys, but I think we should celebrate all that he has brought to us/accomplished during his life. But that will be soon when I let this all sink in. As of right now, I need to give myself a bit of time to breathe.

Thank you to those that bothered to read this note, I appreciate it and hopefully we can get through this together, as fellow k-pop fans.

Hey friends! 

I have quite a few things to say but it won't take as long I promise, just a couple of things I've been keeping in mind lately.

I'll start with my activity on this site. As most of you probably noticed, I've barely been doing much on here as much as I used to. It's pretty obvious since I'm on my final year of college now so I'm mainly just focused on getting major assignments, projects and such done on time. I come home late almost everyday of the week and even then I wouldn't have much time to do any digital pieces until the weekends at most.

Secondly, no this doesn't mean that I'm going to deactivate or anything of the sort. I'm still drawing a lot offline, at the moment im leaning more towards traditional since it's been awhile since I've done any serious works traditionally (since high school if I must be honest!). So this also means that I will participate in Inktober this year! I know I'm two-- almost three-- days behind schedule (thanks college) but I figured it would be the best idea to get back into the habit again. Before dA I used to do a lot of ink pen/copic marker drawings, so it would be nice to do something like that again. 

Third, I've been really self conscious about the artwork I've been producing lately, both digitally and traditionally, and after some thought I figured that I'd settle with making a new instagram. I don't really want to spam this account with doodles and sketches I do-- so for that kind of content (along with the inktober drawings) I will start posting stuff like that over there. My dA from this point onward will now display the works that I'm 100% proud of.

This might be updated on occassion, usually whenever I'm out on holidays (as I am right now).

Some important things to consider lmfao copying the previous rules from my old journal like

*I have the right to decline any trade if I know that I'm either going to be very busy or if it's something that I just don't feel comfortable doing.

*Please don't make me rush my part/constantly reminding me to do it otherwise I just won't do it.

*SINGLE AND/OR COUPLE TRADES ARE A-OK WITH ME!!!

*THIS IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE!!!!! After you state your offers and if you have my approval, then your name and offers will be listed here. I'm naturally really picky, but not in terms of art style or skill level, no. I demand to see a good amount of effort on your half.

*I like to keep trades fair. Like for example if you give me a chibi for your part of the trade, I will most likely draw you a chibi in return. If you give me a quick sketch, I will give you a quick sketch, etc. This even applies to couple trades as well.

*I feel mostly comfortable drawing humans/kemonomimis/anthros/humanoids!

*I might sometimes go out of order in regards to the list-- but it really just depends on the type of trade we're doing.
